In this two-week experiential learning program you will:

• Improve your legal English speaking and writing proficiency.
• Practice and develop basic lawyering skills.
• Build a foundation of specialized legal topics, including cross-border transactions, international arbitration, and the U.S. tax system.

The Program allows participants to gain an understanding of U.S. legal education and the law school experience while also providing an opportunity to meet other law students and practitioners from around the world. Students will also participate in professional, networking and social events and visits within the Miami legal community.

Who Can Participate?

Participants in the two-week course must be law students or recent law graduates in their home countries. Additionally, they must have an intermediate to advanced level of English.

Note: US-trained lawyers are eligible to register for a single Specialized Track upon request.

$3,500 USD
Covers the full, three-module curriculum including Legal English, Lawyering Skills, and a selection of one of the Specialized Tracks (Cross-Border Transactions, International Arbitration, or Introduction to the U.S. Tax System).

$2,500 USD
Covers the optional two-module curriculum, which includes Lawyering Skills + one additional selection (Legal English or a Specialized Track).

Note: the course tuition does not include travel, lodging and related expenses.
